Embracing your Queendom
Embracing your Queendom – a series of menopause masterclasses – beginning January 26th!
How are you? I am curious to know what stage of the “Wise Teenager” you are currently navigating. Are you embracing your queendom or terrified of it?
I believe the perimenopause and menopause to be your second puberty. After years of managing your hormonal cycles— whether you have welcomed each bleed, tried to avoid them or even dreaded them monthly menstruation has been a recurrent cycle for you to navigate. Skin issues, PMS or PMDD, mood swings, bloating, pain, heavy or irregular bleeds, endometriosis or polycystic ovaries, contraception choices (including emergency), fertility programmes, pregnancy, motherhood are just some of the navigations you have experienced. Well — now everything is changing as you step into peri-menopause; shift into menopause itself and finally enter post menopause. While it can feel daunting, this is a portal of change and a truly exciting time.
Reflecting on your original pubescent and teenage years, what words would you use to describe them? Take a moment and really think. Were they wild, magical, painful, experiential or perhaps full of adventure? Now, you are entering a similar transition, but this time you are doing it with self-empowerment and on your own terms.
Just as your teenage years shaped you, this phase offers a chance to create a new version of yourself, whether that involves a new career, a new attitude, or a new way of being. While your internal and external cycles are shifting, this remains a significant time for growth.
If you are feeling vulnerable or fearful, I invite you to share your concerns with me. Are you worried about societal invisibility, physical changes, or the “hormone storm” often described by others? Many of the symptoms we fear, such as increased ageing, fatigue or anxiety, low libido, vaginal dryness, weight gain, depression, sleep disturbances, migraines can all be supported naturally and do not have to define your experience.
You aren’t losing your identity; you are simply shedding a skin to emerge into your “Queendom.” (Peri) menopause is a period for reflection, letting go of what no longer serves you, and embracing a powerful new chapter. To help you walk into your Queendom I have developed a series of Masterclasses which I would love to invite you to:
