Reiki energy healing is a Japanese word derived from "rei" (universal) and "ki" (life energy). It is an ancient healing discipline linked with ancient Buddhist teachings and also been found in Sanskrit texts.
Reiki and Seichem energy healing is a therapy using the power of energy. It treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit which helps you to relax, offers a safe space to clear the mind, brings clarity, peace, security and usually a feeling of well being. Energy healing is a simple, natural and safe method, works in conjunction with both orthodox and complementary healthcare and can be combined with any of my treatments.
How does Reiki energy healing work?
As a Reiki-Seichem Master/Teacher and through continued study I act as a “conduit”, connecting with healing energy which then flows into you. My energy healing is not associated with a religion, more a philosophy. It is difficult to describe a treatment, simply because each experience is different but I offer this desciption
My treatments integrate my own spiritual development and I often include insights, visualisations and the use of energy oils during the treatment. You remain fully clothed throughout but I ask that you lie on my treatment couch, ensuring that you are comfortable. During the treatment I travel around your body, laying my hands near to or occasionally on your clothed body. You may feel a “warmth” emanating from my hands but this does vary dependent on your needs. We end the treatment with a period of stillness and grounding. Many of my clients combine their treatment with reflexology, meditation or a reading . You may also be interested in attending one of my workshops
