Spring has Sprung

Spring has Sprung. What are you planning  this month?

Each month I draw guidance from my conscious conception oracle cards which then becomes my  monthly  “hormone inspiration” focus and blog for the month.

The new moon this month was April 1st and the cards literally BLEW ME AWAY! What perfection to draw the conception card this month.

what are you conceiving this monthAfter the Spring equinox there has been a “shift in energy”. It really feel as if Spring has sprung and daylight has returned.  Everything seems to have changed – nature has woken.

Working with the wheel of the year during the winter months we tend to go inwards; planning projects and preparing for pregnancy.  Fundamentally  we are sowing the seeds for the forthcoming year.  Now, in Spring we are ready to launch those projects/seeds  and encourage them to come to fruition.  And here we are – April 1st with an explosion of positive energy.  How wonderful to draw the “conception card” (card 6 in my oracle pack) which shares this Spring  explosive energy. It recognises all your hard work behind the scenes and  confirms that the time is right.  By the way, if you are trying for a baby then I suggest you nip over to my other website and complete the “fertility intentions” exercise”

We welcome this card for it’s true meaning – yes, of course that can mean ACTUALLY conceiving a baby but the word “conception” can also be associated with planning and devising any project or birthing a plan.  Not all of my followers are looking to have a baby but many of you are “creating” whether that is a new health care plan, a new relationship, a new career, new home or simply any form of project.  Emotionally the drawing of this card indicates the time is ripe and encourages us to remain focused and in the present. When I look at the other cards and plant energy I have drawn this month I am blown away – moonstone and bellis perennis – DAISY.  This is indeed a powerful month for  new beginnings, conception and projects!

Spring Crystal:  Moonstones:

what are you conceiving this monthWith its watery pearly white sheen the  moonstone  gently soothes and balances  emotions;  neutralises negative thoughts and feelings;  opens the heart and  subconscious mind,  releases emotional patterns  and encourages  focus and positivity.

♥ Happiness ♥ New beginnings  ♥ Nurturing ♥ Fertility and motherhood ♥ Destiny ♥ Love ♥ Hope ♥ Intuition ♥ Easy childbirth ♥ Safe travel ♥ Luna energy/Yin ♥ Abundance ♥ Ancient wisdom

Gems including crystals have been worn for thousands of years and are rich in power and magic.  You probably recognise that  you are both unconsciously and consciously attracted to crystals/gems/beautiful things. Whatever crystal you are attracted to  – wear or hold it/them to empower whatever journey you are on to bring positivity and a little magic to your life.

Moonstones are a very feminine stone believed to help hormone production, metabolism and reproduction. Legend states that its brightness  and power raises to its peak around the full moon. Moonstones have long been known for its calming, soothing qualities.  Its energy is balancing and healing, assisting in the mastery of emotions by bringing them under the control of Higher Will, rather than expressing or repressing them. Moonstone opens the heart as assisting in the acceptance of love. It is an excellent crystal for new love, and is a comforting talisman. It helps identify emotional patterns that are stored in the subconscious, and serves as a guardian to contain explosive passions, and to stimulate confidence and composure.  Moonstones can be placed at the centre of the chin (the Moon Centre) to create this balance. Moonstone bestows a depth of feeling, a gentleness within the self that brings happiness to the wearer.

Balances hormones – the stone of eroticism, stimulating the kundalini energy and carnal desires. It is the ultimate fertility crystal – helping you align with your own natural rhythm including your conceptual window and natural energy cycles. It powerfully affects the female reproductive system, enhancing fertility and promoting ease in pregnancy and childbirth, alleviates menstrual problems including peri-menopause, cyclical fluid retention, PMS, pain, emotional instability and more. Oedema and bloating –  just as the moon influences water, moonstones helps with internal fluid retention whether that is cyclical with your monthly bleed or digestive.

Detoxification – liver and pancreas   Helps assimilate nutrients  and relieves digestive disturbances.

Sleep:   An elixir can be used to help insomnia and sleep walking.

Spiritual: Traditionally used to enhance psychic abilities.  Women – reveals their intuitive feminine power and clairvoyance.  Moonstones are the stone of destiny are, just as their name dictates  connected to the energy of moon- yin energy;  the Divine Feminine  and the goddess. Moonstone helps men become more in-tune with the feminine aspects of their nature, and stimulates the right side of the brain, encouraging nonlinear thinking and emotional balance.

Wear the creation fertility bracelet over Spring time. Moonstones come in a variety of colours and so do the moonstones within the bracelet.  Their colours range from a creamy colourless to grey, blue, brown, yellow, green, or pink. The clarity ranges from transparent to translucent.

Spring Plant of the month:   Bellis Perennis – the common DAISY

Spiritual growth – clarity – overcoming obstacles – creative thinking – honesty – faith – fertility – life path

what are you conceiving this month?I love the common daisy.  Always so uplifting.  I liken this sweet little plant to a combination of yin and yang – the yellow centre is the yang energy – determination, sun energy, re-birth/fertility, projects, energy and focus.  The beautiful white petals which surround the centre (to me) protect the yellow centre.  They represent all that has gone before – our life lessons and it’s learned wisdom, cyclical and ancestral empowerment,  night time with moon yin energy, Divine connection,  light of goodness and faith.  I suppose the yellow centre is very like Spring time, fertile and fresh bringing  the child like innocence of an idea into focus  whilst the petals protect the centre and integrate all the past in a positive manner.

Spagyric medicine considers the daisy energetically helps the mind synthesise information coming from different sources (including energetic inheritances from family, so ancestral influence), know what they are; where they came from and uses this information to re-birth and guide you on your life path.

Helps integrate projects into a global perspective. The plant for a project!

Helps us overcome bereavement and grieving

Connects with us at soul level – reconnects us on our life path

Helps us get over past obstacles, re-centre and re-find our identity.

Helps us learn and listen to our mind and body.

Connect us to divine harmony with the earth

Stimulates creative thinking

Supports honesty and loyalty.

Physically:

Great for soft tissue trauma especially for muscles, breasts, abdominal walls, uterus and genitals  – it acts in a similar manner to arnica

Post trauma remedy – bumps and bruises.  Deep and lasting injuries.  Perennis actually means “lasting all year so think chronic”. Great for abdominal and pelvic issues

Rheumatism, headaches

Breast problems – engorgement, congestion

Pregnancy – uterine pains and ligament changes during pregnancy and also supports sciatica during pregnancy.  Also wonderful post birth – c-sections, forceps, post-partum and traumatic births.

Anti-inflammatory and bactericide.

Spring recipe:

2-Ingredient Dark Chocolate Truffles by the Minimalist Baker

Vegan, gluten-free dark chocolate truffles made with just 2 ingredients and simple methods! So easy, creamy, delectable, and sinfully rich. Servings 16 (truffles)

255 g vegan dark chocolate* (very finely chopped // 72% cacao or higher // 9 ounces is equal to ~1 1/4 cup)

90 ml light (or full-fat) canned coconut milk (well shaken)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

24 g unsweetened cocoa or cacao powder, or finely ground hazelnuts (optional // for coating)

Instructions

Place finely chopped chocolate in a medium-sized mixing bowl. The finer the chocolate is chopped, the easier it will melt and the quicker the truffle-making process will go.  In a separate small mixing bowl, add coconut milk and heat in a small saucepan over medium heat until just starting to simmer.  Immediately add coconut milk to chocolate and loosely cover with a cooking lid or towel to trap the heat in. Do not touch for 5 minutes. Then lift cover and use a mixing spoon to gently stir, trying not to incorporate air. Continue stirring until completely melted, creamy, and smooth – add vanilla if you wish.
