These small, informal and relaxed workshops are based on 4 hours tuition (unless otherwise stated) and cost £40-£65 per person. They are written for people who have an interest in complementary health and their aim is to teach basic massage or reflexology techniques as an aid to stress management. They are not 'professional' qualifications.

April - Basic Reflexology
The aim of this workshop is to learn how to relax hands and feet appropriately
using reflexology combined with aromatherapy massage cream. It is important
to learn these basic techniques properly before using reflexology on the
feet to treat stress-related disorders and annual health complaints. The
techniques taught will encourage relaxation and sleep, improve nail health,
skin tone and texture and improve circulation. Can be taught to both adults
and children over 10.
June - Indian Head Massage
A non-invasive therapy that is relaxing and rejuvenating and can be used
on children and adults alike! By learning simple massage techniques you
can treat the back, neck, shoulders arms and scalp, allowing tension to
float away! Calms and re-balances the mind, stimulates hair-growth and
reduces headaches. 5 hours (£55 p.p.)
September - Further Reflexology
Using the techniques taught in the Basic reflexology workshop, learn how
to use reflexology on the feet to ease headaches, tension, sinus congestion
and other 'annual' health complaints. Can be used on adults and children
alike.
November - Back/Neck and Shoulder Massage
A more in depth workshop where you learn how to massage the back neck
and shoulders. Please be prepared to take some clothes off, as you will
be working directly on the body using massage oil. This workshop would
suit those who have some massage experience. You will need to provide
a large towel and massage oil. 6 hours (£65 p.p.)
Specific dates and venues for the workshops are to be confirmed. Water and workshop notes will be provided.
